How many students loughborough university

Not a huge amount of facilities on campus, the student union offers a small number of societies with most of the existing ones only being for specific nationalities. The on-campus internet is very unreliable and often mobile data is just better and easier to make use of. Student Union events and services aren't too bad but are often just very crowded and somewhat misleading in description.

On top of the societies, there are 58 sports clubs ranging from American Football through to Wheelchair Basketball. Still new to the university but can say it seems technologically advanced, with major installations and size, many facilities and opportunities, more than we can manage, especially in the initial stage.

But in general, the campus looks amazing. I must complain about the level cleaning in various facilities however.

For example, accommodations reserved for prospective students at least in my personal experience , and the library… Filthy places…. Great Uni that is modern and not stuck in old ways. A uni that genuinely makes an effort for its students. Overall it's not bad.

The careers network is non-existent, they will give you a few links but won't help as much as I wish they did.

The campus is huge and absolutely beautiful. There are lots of sports you can try out, very expensive tho. Accommodations are good based on in which one you live, you could be in CP or end up in bad places such as Telford. The lectures are really good. Great to hear you enjoyed your overall experience at Loughborough, both in and out of the classroom.

Even as a graduate you can still access services. This includes online advice, individual appointments, presentations and careers events.

University is great - the design school is incredible and definitely worth studying here for. Was here during the pandemic so didn't get to experience it fully but can imagine it's a great experience! Glad you enjoyed your time at Loughborough. And I agree — the design school is incredible. A warm, unpretentious and positive environment to live and to study.

The campus is very well maintained and provides a lot of activities for anyone at the university. Thanks for taking the time to share your experiences at Loughborough University. Campus is definitely one of the top perks about being a Loughborough student. You can still have a look around even from home! The support this year has been excellent and I have always known that I have people looking out for my wellbeing; when we were isolating, we had constant food deliveries and staff checking we were okay.

Whilst teaching was online, my lecturers tried their best to engage and make learning as fun as possible. THank you Loughborough! My experience at Loughborough has been phenomenal! The 4 years I have spent here have definitely been the best so far. I was extremely supported by lecturers and the facilities are incredible, which only made the experience during COVID so much better than expected.

Loughborough University has a very warm family feel to it which makes you feel like you're home. Its been an honour to have graduated from such a wonderful university. Loughborough has a great hall sprit and social aspects.

The facilities, lectures and staff members are brilliant and provide lots of support with anything you do! Studying at Loughborough has so far been a very pleasant experience. The atmosphere at the University is very friendly with both staff and students.

The modules taught are very well considered for each degree and the social life is also great with many clubs and societies. Great campus life. Should have a student discount for buses to town. I've been at Loughborough University since , almost 15 years, through undergraduate, PhD and postdoc.

Thoroughly enjoyable experience. The campus is beautiful, everything is walking distance. As a first year student this year was both weird in the sense of covid ruining our chances to experience to them fullest what the night life is in loughborough however the sport facilities, campus and the overall loughborough community made me really enjoy my year. Everything is tailored to enjoyment whether the sports or the nights out. Also the best VC in the country. Great experience as a 1st year student and looking forward to using more of the great facilities the university has to offer next year!

The clubs and societies available at Loughborough are varied and are accommodating. By far my favourite university in UK out of the 20 universities I visited! The community is so friendly and welcoming and the facilities are insane!

Bakewell is nice accommodation with lots of hall activities. Good campus and bus around campus. Not too far from town with enough student things to do and easy train to Nottingham or Leicester for more nightlife.

Loughborough Uni has a great social scene and social facilities. Also, there should be more provision of department sport. I have really enjoyed my experience at Loughborough university so far and would say I am very happy with my choice to study there.

Sports, social and learning facilities are all great. Offers the best experience and the best courses for sport, engineering and art! Does what oxbridge can't. Absolutely loved my first year here. Even through a pandemic they did everything they could to support us. A fantastic campus and excellent teaching, but the town is small so you have to be prepared for that. I spent a whole year extra retaking my a levels just to get into Loughborough Uni and it did not disappoint.

Attractive campus with great placements team and wide range of clubs and societies. I have truly enjoyed my experience so far. Incredible community, outstanding facilities and amazing teaching. Loughborough University has a diverse community of students and teachers which makes your experience there very interesting, educational and open!

The facilities are various and high quality. The university also helps a lot with adapting or preparing for the real world!

Loughborough is the best University and you really feel like a big family I know its cheesy but the atmosphere is great especially if you like sports and even if you don't there so much outside space to drink or party or chill around campus.

The online learning provided an interesting challenge but I believe that Loughborough approached it in the best way possible. I came to loughborough thinking the nightlife and socials would be terrible, but it proved me wrong.

The student union always has things going on and the interior is so spectacular as if it was some expensive place in London. Accomodation is very very well priced and just overall there is lots to do. Also in terms of jobs, whenever looking for jobs I get such positive feedback through the reputation of Loughborough especially in the sports industry. A fun time academically and socially, I would definitely recommend. Considering the experience that was definitely possible given the year, nearly two years that we have had, Loughborough university has managed to give an experience that I am hugely grateful for.

During my first year my student experience was excellent, vibrant, supportive, everything you would want from a university experience. Covid times were less so and I feel like most universities, lboro let their students down a little.

Overall still a positive time. Great uni, great facilities, great lectures. Also the union had societies for everyone and the support for sports is amazing. Such a great community feel, all staff are so kind, helpful and supportive. The campus provides facilities for anything us students would need!

Since starting at Loughborough the idea of the Lboro family is apparent. Nice green campus good sports facilities could have more pubs and places for a night out around. Since joining Loughborough University I have felt welcomed and well looked after surrounded by passionate people who all want to have a laugh! Excellent sports and academic facilities, great working environment, the University has done well dealing with covid for students living in halls.

Very good accommodation in a good place on campus. The catered food could improve but it has improved since Easter, compared to the beginning of the year. Good variety of clubs and societies available. The wifi was often intermittent especially since this year the majority of courses were taught online so everyone on campus in halls were using the wifi consistently throughout the day.

Loughborough is such an insanely good uni. The most supportive, friendly and student focused environment. Engaging lectures, inspiring students and insane opportunities. This year has been hard with all the restrictions, but it shouldn't take away from how students in Halls were treated. Imho, it was closer to younger years at a boarding school than an adult renting a room and studying their degree with the amount of restrictions at halls.
