How does peeta inadvertently kill foxface
Katniss noticed many mutts, as they had similar characteristics to their fallen tributes. In this case, Foxface was a small wolfish-muttation. She had large razor-sharp claws, fire-red fur and amber eyes, which were strikingly similar to those of Foxface. It is unknown if Foxface's mutt survived the attack at the Cornucopia.
Foxface avoided confronting the other tributes and kept a reasonable distance between her and anyone else. She intelligently observed other tributes from afar, which allowed her to understand their plans.
She took an unnoticeable amount of food from others without their knowledge, and was careful when she was in the Careers' camp, for she knew that it contained mines. She was clever enough to trace a path through the mines where she could step without being blown to pieces.
She had no alliances with other tributes and kept completely to herself. She also demonstrated the attribute of being wily, when she deciphers a path through the explosives to reach the Careers' pyramid of food and supplies, making sure to take enough to survive, but not so much that it would be noticed by the others when they arrived back at their camp.
She was independent, always working alone and was sly, elusive, and probably untrustworthy. Another one of her clever ideas was demonstrated at the feast. Foxface hid in the Cornucopia, waiting for the others to come. She didn't waste time with a battle — she ran up, snatched her bag, and quickly evacuated the area. No one would follow her in fear of not getting their own bags, containing something they "desperately needed," taken away by another tribute.
Katniss was also envious of her plan, how strategic and risky it was, and how it trapped the other tributes. Foxface was careful not to make enemies or even to make herself noticed.
Remarkably, she managed to get through to the final four tributes without making a single kill, showing either her morals, luck, or her intelligence. Foxface was a sly and sneaky tribute. Foxface was smaller than most of the other tributes in the 74th Hunger Games, weighing pounds. In the book, Katniss describes Foxface as having amber eyes and sleek red hair. In the movie, however, her eyes are green. Foxface proved to be one of the smartest, trickiest, and stealthiest tributes in the Games.
She demonstrated this several times throughout the book by doing various things, such as stealing supplies from other tributes, letting herself to become a forgettable tribute in order to not draw attention to herself, and she could find things that others didn't look hard enough for. Foxface did "dance moves" to avoid the bombs planted in the ground, hinting to Katniss about what was going on.
After Katniss blew up the supplies, she returned and laughed over the pile of ash, knowing she might actually win. She was able to find a knife blade, and a pot. Then, Foxface was seen at the feast, running out of the cornucopia, grabbing her district bag, and running into the woods. Foxface's last appearance was her death, when she followed Katniss and Peeta and ate the nightlock Peeta had gathered. I would imagine that her talent is stalking. She doesn't really do anything, but I know that one of her talents was being quiet and following the other tributes throughout the games up until her death.
FoxFace is stealthy and Silent, allowing her to move without detection. She can steal food, like the circumstance with the berries that Peeta was collecting. She assumed they were okay to eat because Peeta was picking them, so she used her stealth to steal them, ultimately killing her.
Peeta district 12 Katniss 12 Cato 2 and Foxface 5. He tells Katniss to kill him, but she can't. Instead, she grabs the red poisonous berries, Nightlock, that killed Foxface and Peeta catches on. They are about to eat the berries when Claudius announces that there are two winners: Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark. Katniss knows very little about foxface, only that she is sly, sneaky, cunning and very smart. Katniss admires foxface a little for her strategies in the games, and how she survives until the nightlock.
Foxface's downfall was that she didn't know the berries that Peeta had been collecting were poisonous. Peeta didn't know either.
She died from eating the berries also known as Nightlock. After the announcement is made that there can be 2 winners of the 74th Annual Hunger games, Katniss and Peta team up to be the two victors.
During their journey to succeed, they decide to split up. Katniss hunts and Peeta finds food from plants. As she walks through the woods, Katniss is nostalgic, remembering different events in the Games, thinking about Rue and the other tributes and about how they are all dead. When she leaves the cave, there is a strong sense of finality. It is time to say goodbye to the arena and, by doing this, Katniss is preparing herself for the final battle with Cato. She knows that the Games have been leading up to this moment, and she takes comfort in having a partner, Peeta. All along she has thought about how she is a better hunter with a partner, and now, when it matters most, she has Peeta with her.
The mockingjays add to Katniss' nostalgia. She sings Rue's song to them while she and Peeta wait for Cato. She touches her mockingjay pin, remembering her friend and District Peeta comments on how Katniss is just like her father, who could also make the birds sing. But, even more terrifying, something is chasing Cato, something so terrifying that he doesn't even stop to try and kill Katniss and Peeta.
