Can you live in motels

It is that these two always provide a lot of amenities not found in motels. Compared to other options like apartments, motels are way cheaper. When renting apartments, one would still have to add water and electric bills to costs.

Aside from that, one would still have to pay for internet bills every month. Hotels are no good either. Plus, extras like breakfast or room service. Staying at hotels would be more expensive.

While one can choose the extras that matter, these are still added costs. They accumulate. They add up. And in a year, one would be surprised at how much one could have saved if not for these extras. When renting apartments, one would have to add commuting costs. Whether it is gas, or car maintenance, or anything else, these can pile up. What is more practical is to check into a motel near work. Motels can sometimes make work more accessible for you.

When the opportunity presents itself, living in motels can be an advantage. This is especially true when one has to slash commuting costs from the equation. There are a few individuals that stay in a motel for a few weeks.

There are others that prefer to stay for a few months. But most motels can have you stay for up to a year. After a year, you can always extend. It can be cheaper too. This is because motels usually have daily, weekly, monthly , and even yearly rates.

The longer you stay, the more discounts there are. Take advantage of these. Staying in motels for longer periods makes sense.

They are usually far cheaper than just staying for a week or a night. There are a few good reasons why some people would stay in motels for longer periods. Some would stay for a month. There are others that stay for up to a year. Aside from these, there are still other reasons why people stay long in motels. But for whatever reason it may be, motels provide that great advantage. One can always stay in motels for a month or more. Motels provide a more affordable solution as compared to staying in hotels.

Staying for longer periods in hotels and motels is common. They always attract a wide array of personalities. The one advantage of staying longer periods in motels is because of the discounted rates.

When one stays for an extended period, one is always presented with discounts. As you already know, motels are cheaper than hotels. This is because hotels have more amenities than motels. Hotels have laundry facilities, a gym, and a pool.

Hotels even have room service, which can add up to the costs. Motel rooms are also smaller than hotel rooms. If there is one thing that you should put up in motels, it is at least a kitchen. But as the rooms are smaller, one must be content with a bathroom and a bed. The possibilities for exploration are essentially endless and only limited to your budget and motivation. For me, this was the biggest pro of potentially living in hotels indefinitely. The thought of visiting potentially 20 to 30 countries in a year was pretty unbelievable.

Many mid-range or luxury hotels will have nice fitness centers where you will be able to get in a great work out. You also may have a pool to use for a nice workout and even a sauna to relax in. In many cities, you can rent bikes and get great exercise as well. If you are planning on doing a lot of hotel hopping, the odds of you getting exposed to one of these two things will continue to go up.

There is something exciting and exhilarating about a constant change of scenery. Many people are just not cut out to be on the road all the time and away from home. And a lot of people may not be able to function right not having a true home at all. If you are not staying in nice properties or in spacious suites, you might feel a bit claustrophobic from time to time being stuck in a small hotel room.

Other times, noisy neighbors can disrupt your sleep or cause other horror stories in your life — you never know who might be in a hotel room next to you. At some point, you may reach a level of fatigue from the constant traveling and checking in and out of hotels that could build up and cause you to become exhausted. In the vast majority of cases, you will not be able to buy a hotel room. Some hotels may allow you to stay even longer but this could depend on things like local regulations and laws for visitors.

In some cases, employers send out workers to destinations where they basically reside in hotels for years at a time. You can live in some hotels indefinitely and for long periods of time which is essentially a permanent residence in some cases.

As long as the hotel does not have restrictions on the duration of your stay, you should be able to remain there as long as you wish as a paying guest. Ultimately, I decided that I was more interested in living in a home, getting a dog, and living a more traditional existence than living permanently in a hotel. But I think for some people, living in a hotel could be a good thing at least for a while and could be an exciting adventure that lasts for a few years.

Additionally, being walking distance or a short public transportation jaunt is much easier than getting in the car and paying for metered or underground parking, in addition to all the maintenance and potential parking tickets associated with driving in the city. In most cases, you probably won't spend less money to live in a hotel or Airbnb. That being said, you might still choose to pay a premium to live in a full-service hotel that is close to work and social activities simply for the convenience of it.

Additionally, one benefit of renting from a hotel or motel is that you don't need to provide a huge security deposit or first and last months' rent. While you might pay more monthly, you at least don't have to come up with a large chunk of money or go through credit checks.
